OUR PROCESS
STEP 1
Schedule Your Free Assessment
When you schedule your assessment, one of our experts will call you and go over the details for your business and your property, giving you a rough estimate of what you're overpaying.

Step 3
Survey & Valuation
We will conduct a full & comprehensive survey of your commercial property and provide a valuation, so that we can find out if you've been overpaying or are exempt from paying business rates.


STEP 2
Audit & Payment
Prior to being assigned a case manager at The Rating Surveyors, who will be your main point of contact, your case will be reviewed in the Survey Department to ensure that it meets the criteria for submitting your case to the VOA - ensuring that your rateable value is correct and fair, and any available rebate can be applied for. Once we've processed your service fee, they will guide you through the process and begin opening an investigation with the valuation office agency.

Step 4
Claim Your Rebate
After we've conducted the commercial survey, finalised your valuation and confirmed you've been overpaying, we will work with you to claim a refund on past payments made to the local authority.
